Build lighting states, organize audio, and prepare external control commands in one project. TOPS brings the patch, Programmer, and cue stack together so you can move from preparation to rehearsal and the next GO. Groups, memories, palettes, Sequences, and Pads let you reuse the work you have already prepared.
TOPS is the evolution of LightPad. It preserves the .lightpad project format and the identity of the Full purchase, with the new TOPS name and icon. Version 1.0 (22) is an App Store candidate; public availability is pending. Requires iOS or iPadOS 17.6 or later.

Lighting, from patch to cue
Organize fixtures by universe and address. Use the local profile library, create your own profiles, or import compatible DMX data from GDTF files. Prepare intensity, color, pan, tilt, and the other profile attributes in Programmer; store memories and intensity, focus, color, and beam palettes.
Run the stack with GO, BACK, STOP, PAUSE/RESUME, fades, and WAIT/FOLLOW links. Add independent Sequences, FX, and actions from Pads. Send lighting over Art-Net or sACN E1.31 to receivers configured on your local network. TOPS Full adds Pixel Map.
Audio that belongs in the show
Import a file from Files and create playback, pause, resume, stop, and fade cues. Adjust level, looping, and start offset. TOPS Full adds multichannel audio, speaker maps, and Audio Move to move a source along a path between available outputs.
Channel count, channel order, latency, and the audio route depend on the interface and what iOS or iPadOS exposes. Check every physical output with the device and setup you will use.
External control you prepare
Use MIDI Learn to map Note and Control Change messages to transport controls, masters, and Pads. Connection and ARM require explicit actions. Integrate OSC commands and, with Full, PJLink TCP projectors. Ableton Link synchronizes tempo and phase on the network: it does not transmit audio or automatically trigger remote start and stop.

Free and Full, no subscription
The planned download is free. TOPS Free allows creation of up to 16 fixtures, 25 total cues, 8 Audio Play cues, and one Sequence, with one DMX universe in unicast and stereo audio.
TOPS Full is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It removes those creation limits and enables multiple universes, multichannel and spatial audio, Pixel Map, Art-Net broadcast, sACN multicast, and projector control. Device and show setup limits still apply. Apple displays the applicable price before confirmation. Restore purchases and offer codes are available in Settings → TOPS Full.
Local projects. Preparation for the performance.
No TOPS account is required. The app includes no ads, publisher analytics, or tracking. Exported projects preserve configuration and references, but do not contain audio files: keep the originals too. Dedicated PJLink and QLab credentials remain in the local Keychain without syncing or export.
Review Demo lets you explore the workflow without buying Full or connecting equipment. Keep the app open and active for continuous network control and rehearse connections, files, and recovery before every performance. TOPS must not be the sole control for safety-critical systems. Third-party profiles and protocols do not imply manufacturer certification or endorsement.
